sounds like a plan George. Just another quick note about clowns - they usually are unpredictable in terms of their behavior - sometimes they do this, sometimes that - that's part of their nature so you may observe that their behavior varies and that seems be "the norm" for clowns :)

Clowns are very crazy!! Today everything seemed well. They didn't eat as much today, but they always do that on certain days, so I won't worry yet.

    Thanks for your help :)

you are welcome. I'm not saying not to observe the fish but don't get real concerned unless there is an obvious decline in health overall and for a period of time. You still need to observe for something significantly off. I'm just thinking you may want to sit and enjoy :)

I have been observing them closely just to make sure :)

I've been weaning them off the medicated food and they are even more active now for some reason. I don't think they liked that food.

The bump on the clowns "chin" hasn't gotten better or worse, but if it's not fuzzy, I don't think there's anything to worry about with it. It reminds me of herpes, except on a fish lol

One of the clowns had the white poop again. First time I've seen it in about a week. But, everyone is doing so well together. The clowns are more active now than ever, they're eating super well now.

They obviously hated the medicated food because once they came off of them they perked up.

I think I will just let them go now (like I have for months ) and leave everything alone, except for weekly water changes. Sound okay?

Also, the clowns growth on its chin is gone!

Does anyone know any other causes of white poop besides parasites?

Is it stringy? Liquidy? Or correct consistency, just white? If its either of the first two, I would have to say parasites.

sometimes its stringy, othertimes it's normal, and sometimes it looks like he poops a bunch of sand or small particles. One clown has always been like that though, since october last year and hes always been fine. It's stressing me out that it might be parasites, but I just want to leave it since its been fine for this long.

Edit: screw it, I'm just gonna soak the food a little while longer. Can't hurt

Great news! instead of soaking the food, I just dosed the tank with prazipro, I was a little worried that I'd kill my shrimp and urchins, but they're doing great. I just saw one of the clowns poop a brown burst of poo! So looks like it worked, and it must have been parasites. Thanks for your help, looks like I got this taken care of for good now :)
