So we recently switched the food for our two clowns and saphire blue damsels to flakes from mises shrimp, mainly because we were out of town and using an auto fish feeder and one of the clowns orange seems to have turned mostly black. Aside from that, her behavior appears to be fine, and all the other fish are fine, no coloration/behavior changes. Is this normal for certain species of clowns ?

    I have had a 30 gallon tank for about a year, FOWLR, sg 1.024, ph 8.1, ammonia 0, nitrates 10-15, nitrates 0

    Thanks

Yes, it's perfectly normal for clowns to change color as they mature and age.
