im looking to try and maybe establish a pair of ocell clowns of different color morphs so htey will swim around together and share an anemone. But I do not necessarily want to have them breed. Is there any way to have the pair but not the offspring? If not, how would i raise up the fry and what would I eventually do with them?

    a fishectomy would work.:)

if they had offspring, you could either let them be tiny snacks for everyone in the tank. or try and raise them in a seperate tank. maybe back to your lfs after for credit.

If you dont raise up the fry and just leave the batch there, they will more than likely be eaten by inverts on the clownfish themselves.

well to not have the offspring is really easy.. if they lay eggs you just let it be and they can make a really healthy meal for the rest of your fish :) ( as cruel as it sounds its pretty much a natural thing that happens in the wild all the time)

mine havent breed yet but im pretty sure ill try to rise the fry.. although its a pretty complicated process in which you need to set up another tank and feed rotifiers, keep the tank at a certain temperature and with special filtration etc..
