I noticed my clown has swollen lips. His mouth seems to be alway open and also has some "peeling skin" around the head area. I am wondering if him swimming in the frogspawn has anything to do with this. Any thought would be greatley appreciated.

I wouldn't rule it out. My maroon has developed a white bump under the chin from hosting my bubble coral. Bubble corals typically have a bit more of a sting. I've never looked into the potency of frogspawn. Make sure you rule out other possible causes though. Water quality etc.

For what its worth; I had a clown (Amphiprion melanopus) that took to a large frogspawn for many years, didn't seem to suffer any ill effects.

Sold my setup when I moved eight years ago, I had that clown "Goofy" for almost seven years - sold him back to the LFS where I had purchased him all those years ago.
