Clownfish question

    I did the same as you, bought a pair of clowns, one of my first got a bad virus and died, leaving the other alone, so I bought another, more healthy clown so as not to become susceptible do diseases. The new, big one, after three weeks mind you, started to beat the hell out of the small one. I didn't know what to do so I scooped him/her up in a net and placed it in isolation for two days.

    My initial thought was simple, feed the fish being beat up more food than the beater, ergo giving the shrimp(very much pun on words) a fighting chance. So far it's worked great. My aggressive clown has calmed down and the egg beater(so I dubbed him for betting his butt kicked) has recovered.

    Ive heard that in a case like that the larger may have been the female and might not have liked the other one unless it was a juvenile... Good luck hope they keep behaving!
