One of my clownfish has been acting funny. It has been eating good(flakes and frozen mysis). It hangs out in this one spot where it used to hang out close to the other clown. Its breathing is a little more frequent than the other one too. ABout two weeks ago a light white sheen appeared on his body and a little bump on his back. I havent seen ich for 15+ years when I used to have a SW tank but there are no white spots on his scales or fins. In the past couple days i have noticed a couple of its fins have split. Any ideas?

Oh yeah... Water parameters are and have been perfect.

I had read something about fungus... The other clown and all the other fish dont have any white spots or the white sheen on them.

Someone else suggested Brooklynella? The sysmtons for it seem like it means sudden death for the fish and it does not eat. Any ideas?

I would guess bacterial infection of some sort, but it's really hard to say.

Looks like just a bit of a bacterial infection. That was similar on my clowns back in fall of last year.

Try doing some small water changes periodically and soaking their food in vitamins and a hufa soak. ... This should help the fish kick whatever he has.

That looks like what my achilles had for a bit, Doing the WC's and HUFA helped it kick it fast.
