I just purchase a claarki clownfish with a tail rot yesterday! it just arrived at the shop ( haven't mixed with other fishes yet ) so i thought i would buy it as it would have less risk of bacteria..
After i found out it has tail rot the next day i went to the LFS and they suggested some herbal anti fungus treatment. This fish is not very active , swims around but likes to stay at the bottom corner of the tank. the breathing rate is normal and it seems to be looking for food .

i did a partial water change 25 percent before i introduced the fish to my newly cycled tank with a damsel inside.
    current water parameters are
    ammonia 0.2
    nitrite 0
    nitrate 0.2
    sg 1.022

i have added stress zyme after the water change yesterday so i expect the ammonia to decrease.. i haven't tried feeding it yet. is there anything else i can do for my fish? ( i have melafix and interpet anti bacteria )

add garlic and vitamins to there food. i would get more live rock since the ammonia spike tells me that your tank doesn't probably have enough. if you get more liverock get cured rock, thats clean. last thing you need is dead stuff on the rock to bring your ammonia higher.

edit: btw i would make sure your test get is working correctly because i think the last time you posted your ammonia was at .2 also

i think it is working correctly because i have tested it a few times before the partial change and it was zero . which is why i added new fish to it. do you think the anti fungus is enough or do i have to add anti bacteria as well? vitamins as in vitamin c? thanks for the quick reply btw appreciate it much =D

i think its enough but you need to try get the ammonia down to zero as that is probably doing the most damage to the fish

add activated carbon if its not in there already. add a dose of prime(type of water dechlorinator).

i took out my activated carbon just now before i added the anti fungus, wouldn't it render my anti fungus useless if i add it back again?:-/

alright will do. is it normal for fishes suffering from tail rot to be not active? or does he have other problems besides that?
