Trying to figure out if a Ocellaris or a percula clownfish is better for my 46gallon tank. Are there any differences between the two I plan on purchasing 2 juvies.
Also can you get a regular Ocellaris and a black and white Ocellaris to make a pair or should they be the same coloration? I know mixing clowns can lead to aggression issues but if they are the same species would it matter?

I dont know enough to answer your question, but I have 2 occ. clowns in my 46g bf (best tanks ever right?) and theyre easily my favorite things in the tank. My stocking is in my signature, I know its not a lot but theyre just so much more personable than all the other fish ive seen

I have to agree with you there, it is a good bit cheaper to buy a regular rectangle but I love the look of a bowfront so much more! And not like it does much but I like to think it provides a bigger footprint since a regular tank would be 36X12 and the bow is 3612-15inches;D

Now I await a 72gallon bowfront that is next on my list, Still wanting to add a regular and a black clown I wonder if anybody has done this before. Also does keeping them as a pair greatly increase their aggression towards other fish in the tank than if kept as a single?
