Clownfish ?

    Hey guys I got the nuvo innovative marine 16 gallon its all established and doing well all i have is one small clown goby.

    I want to add a clownfish
    Can I put a mated pair or will that be too cramped

    Is just one okay??

    Give me your opinion and any other fish ideas thanks
    (preferably something that hangs out in the middle open water of the tank.)

    I think you should be fine with one occelaris clown.

    yes, one clownfish should be fine.

    You could look at some other goby types or blennies. I have a little hawkfish that stays pretty visible and has a lot of personality.

    I'm a big fan of algae blennies. Mine has a great personality, and although he's a bit of a camouflage expert, he always pops up every 5 minutes or so. VERY interesting looking fish.

    What do you feed your clowns, besides frozen food.

    what flakes or pellets do you feed/recommend??

    the tank is too small for blennies IMO. you could get away with one clown though.

    There are some small species of blenny that would be fine
