i have a 2 1/2 month old 55 gal and thanks to an excited family it is getting stocked waaaay faster than i ever intended but i have trouble sayin "no" to the women (wife n mom) n my life who keep givin me freebies....i've got a small yellow tang, 2 percula clowns, and a condi anemone, but only have 2-18" standard fluorescent lights....i'm gonna build a custom hood today with t5, but my problem is every night i shut my lights and when i get up my clowns are practically dead laying on their sides on top of the tank....when the lights come on they slowly become active and everythings fine....they appear healthy but nearly died day i got em, added them and royal gramma, and 7lbs base rock....gramma died, tang lost color and layed on bottom, clowns quit movin and layed on top...raised the temp and did 10g water change and saved everything but gramma...never shoppin at that lfs again...but any ideas whats goin on with my clowns now???

what other equipment do you have? powerheads? skimmer? filter?
and its a good thing you know that ure stocking too quick. your tank is new aand you keep adding too many new additions, give it time. take it slow, thats really the best way.

Going to agree with Jon on needing to see params...all the fish coincidentally having issues the day you added them sounds like something on your end.
How were they acclimated before being added?
You said you added base rock, was this dry when it went into the tank or did it have dieoff that could have caused a second cycle?
Did you have your water tested before adding fish/did you test through your cycle?
How much live rock and live sand do you have in your tank, or was the 7lbs base rock the first in the tank?
