clowns and fire fish

i just like to run my ideas by the 3reef community.

 

I would add the firefish first definitely just because of it's tendency to get startled quickly, let it get used to it's surroundings before adding anything else. Also like stated above, pairing them up is difficult and then getting rid of one if they don't is even more difficult so you may just want to go with one.

 

+1 Unless you have a very large tank, an unmated pair of firefish will fight.

 

ya that seems like the way to go, so my very first fish ill just add 1 as recommended. then down the road i can add a pair of clowns, since everyone tells me to get 2 clowns not 1.

 

That is hilarious that your clowns host your mag-float. My clowns hate the thing. Whenever I try to clean the glass they attack it.

 

LOL mine love my mag-float, when i clean the tank with it they follow it around, at nite one sleeps above it and the other below it!

and Dasco yeah i believe the would be your best option to buy one firefish and wait a week or 2 and get the pair of clowns
