I came home today and noticed that both my clowns had kind of bloated stomachs..i dnt know if it is the stomach but their sides are sticking out by its fins and it looks like there is something inside but i dont think eggs because both of them have it and i dnt think both can get pregnant! anyone have an idea of what it might be?

the bad part is that our quarantine tank started leaking from a crack so we had dnt have that anymore :/ i also put a picture up but you cant really tell i took it with my camera phone and they kept moving around

    What are you feeding?

It's possible the fish is having trouble passing waste... Try doing a search for bloated clown fish on google. Epsom salt, vegetable are among some recommendations.

My lionfish goes through that sometimes too. Even when he doesn't eat for a week, he will suddenly have a huge belly. It goes away then he eats again.

Try mixing it up. Different types of food and see if that helps...

believe it or not, it has been said that green peas will aid things along as well....

I keep a bag of frozen peas around, my clowns have pecked at the insides of the pea once thawed (not the hull). I would smoosh one up between my fingers and let the current carry it.
