Clowns fighting

These guys need more than 9 months to become a couple?

 

From what I have read it can take 6-12 months for them to pair up.

Looks like ill wait a little bit longer and see how it unfolds.

 

Why trade up, just set up a new tank lol

 

Yeah the gf won't let that happen.... Im fighting to get my Pico up and running again.

 

Their relationships are similar to humans with respect to they will be fine for periods and at other times the female will become hostile to the male for no reason that we can see. They will have a tiff and for a few weeks be fine and out of no where the female will start the behavior again. My females would occasionally just slam the males for a few days and then everything would be fine.

 

Lol, just wait until she will be gone for a few hours, go get her a dozen of her favorite flowers. Set up your new system and then make sure you great her at the door with the flowers when she gets there. Remember, its easier to ask for forgiveness then permission lol

Get your gf involved, Easiest solution, mine hated the hobby before, then once i explained the clowns relationships and how they are she watched and fell in love with them. She now went and bought me my most recent clown Blacker Ice for my last bday. Clowns are beautiful and have such a nice relationship, i cant stop my collecting of them. My next pair is the tank bred McCulloch's they are sooo beautiful, they are now for sale on live aquaria.
