My two lil' percula clowns have been getting along pretty well for about 3 or 4 months now with only the occasional difference of opinions. However, lately they have been fighting a great deal and im not sure why?
They are still very young i think and i have heard of clowns fighting over who is going to be the boy or the girl or something like that, could this be the case here?
It seems that they get very uppity and angry when i sit in front of the tank, i think becuase they think i might be about to feed them so i have to watch them from afar where they cant see me =(
Oh also i dont have an anenome for them yet if that matters at all...

I think im in need of a fish phsyciatrist...

You do not need an anemone...no problem there.

It is very possible that they are establishing dominance. From what I have read, eventually, during the spats, the subservient fish will turn sideways and sortof, shudder , showing submission to the 'female' or dominant fish.

As long as they are not showing signs of severe stress, I think they should be OK. Hopefully, when they have established this, you will be able to watch more closely;) ;D
