For a while now my clowns have been poking at rocks and it seems like their eating whatever they are poking. My tank is 3 months old and i have never seen pods but plan on adding them. So i don't think their eating those, and i havent seen any other critters on the rocks.

Any idea what they could be eating off the rocks?

yea i havent seen any hitchhikers except a dead worm a wihle ago. The clowns are poking at the rocks now and are pretty much doing it throughout the day. They face downwards to look at the rocks, then it's like they see something and then the poke at it, and i'm sure their eating whatever they have found, and it's basically on all the rocks

if their eating pods could that be why i have never seen any swimming around in the tank, i've even looked in at night an hour after lights went off and never saw any so i figured for some reason my tank was podless.

Eating at algae would be nice, i have a bunch of it right now, they were doing this before i got the GHA bloom so maybe they were eating all my pods
