    I have two clown fish that just hang out hovering next to the back wall of my bio cube almost all day..they swim around when i feed them but other than that, they just chill there..is this normal?

    Yes that is normal, mine does the same thing.

    What type of clown fish are these?

    i dont know the exact type..just regular, orange with three white stripes

    Mine swim back and forth all day, but then again they got 6 feet of space. They take off like a bat outa hell then pull up to stop its the coolest.

    It could also be stress related as well, or can just be that they like it back there. How new are they? (I'd suggest knowing exactly what you buy as well, sounds like an Ocellaris or True Perc. But since they are nearly the same in care, you should be fine)

    They just do that some times. Somedays mine hang out behind the powerhead just chilling, somedays they swim around. Other days they will race each other back and forth across the tank.

    were they tank raised? or captive bred? Or wild caught?

    If they were wild caught it will take them a bit to get use to the humans walking around them and looking at them :)
