Good find. White Band Disease is something we should all be concerned about.

Corals have been around a looooong time and have shown themselves to be remarkable resilient (in the long-term....in the short-term is looks downright scary). In fact, many reefs have been moving Northward for decades by doing something called polyp bailout. Literally, the polyps leave their skeleton, float away in the current, and hope to find a more suitable locale to restart building their skeleton.
