    i have a red coalt coral and i think it is having babys. but it leting tips of it branches detach. and they have already had some attached to rocks but is that how they spred i just want to be sure. tanks

    yes, they reproduce by "budding" which means basically that they drop parts of their branches to make babies. Lots of other "tree" corals do that.

    Nice and you are lucky to have that happen to you as they don't with me!
    Keep it going...sell them for bigger and better corals

    That is Awsome! My Kenya tree coral did that, but my colt just spread like wildfire hah. That is awsome. +karma
