coarl and high temps

the temp the tank was way over what the thermometer read and what that chart reads.i left them in there after they roasted and for some odd reason ive observed some showing some life again.not sure yet forsure but it seems like it.

We had a heater break in one of our Malawi Cichlid tanks, man it got up to 90 degrees before I noticed it...These fish are well established in that tank and it didnt appear to effect them, thank goodness....

We run our reef tanks around 79 most of the year and during the summer they may get to 82 with no problems at all.....8)

 

I regulary have my tank at 81

 

my tank is arround 78 or 79 at night but when the lights come on it sometimes goes to arround 81.6 but the temp takes about 6 or 7 hours to go that high and never had a problem with anything caused by heat

 

My nano would get very high say 83-84 at times before I added a sump.. The only thing affected was a rose tipped bta which didn't last long... My leather as you can see in my avatar loved it.... I keep my 5.5 at around 78-79
