Wasn't sure where to put this post so I put it here I just got a coco worm and it has been 24 hours and he hasn't come out of his tube. When should I worry? I know sometimes when we get something new they will hide out till they feel safe, so I'm not too worried at this time. I just want to know when to worry. Thanks;D

i had one that didn't come out of its shell for a week, but then again he had a disruptive roommate of a blenny, that would use his shell as a hideout.

yeah they like to hide for a bit. Mine will hide for a few days if my sixline gets too roudy around him. Dont worry just yet. If you dont see him for a week then maybe start to worry.

I agree, too early to be concerned. When I first got mine he didn't come out for a few days. I put some phytoplankton in and that coaxed him out.

I'm with you. When I got mine it went through the same phase. It was a bummer cause I really wanted to show him off. Just give it some time.
