Not sure if its pooping or trying to reproduce. Can't get it on camera but I saw my coco worm shooting out these green torpedo things from the feathers that was like green sesame seeds. He released them in a strait line and they were not attached to each other and it was probably about 30 of them shooting out and seemed to be about 1 per second. Is this reproducing or pooping.

    Hi Scenario

dont know if Coco worms are same in breeding habits as feather dusters?

but when dusters release eggs / etc they discard their feathers soon after to prevent themselves consuming the next generation

but again Im not sure if coco worms are off a similar nature

    Yes, they are often.

Unfortunately, unless you had another coco worm that released sperm, these eggs will be nothing but fish food.

Thanks for the input. Would this mean that it is happy and healthy to do such a thing.

IME, with feather dusters , I would say that it means its getting enough food stuffs if its pooping and if its drops its feathers, (thanks for the confirmation Inwall) then that means its happy enough in the conditions you have provided for it, to try to reproduce

    just my opinion
