Well this looks really pretty so just out of curiosity is it difficult to maintain? The coco worm is very attractive!

Im pretty sure they are rated as beginner on live aquaria. Taking into consideration your water quality being within normal reefing parameters. I think you just need good calcium numbers and maybe some small feedings of phyto.

LOL THERE RATED AT DIFFICULT XD!!! but I need someone with good experience keeping them. I'm assuming this also applies to a regular feather duster, right?

If you have low nitrates, and a way of providing phyto, you can easily maintain them.

You can provide phyto by just scraping your glass, if you get certain kinds of algae growth on the glass, that come off as particles.

o well thats easy. I'd also have to maintain calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium, right?

Well, yes, but consider the amount of usage. As long as you don't have drastic pH swings, these guys will be ok. They don't use nearly as much as a coral to make their tube, so regular water changes will be enough, especially if there's no corals in the tank.

I have a very big feather duster (8" across) and a coco in my tank, both for more than 6 months, and the coco even gets picked at occasionally by other stuff in the tank and is ok.

I just looked it up. I was thinking Aquatic Connection. Weird how one place rates them beginner and one rates them difficult?

Those guys rate batfish as moderate, most of their eels as easy, ORA picasso clowns as moderate, and ORA plain clowns as easy. There's something fishy about their ratings, no pun intended.

I think I've even heard of problams with them beofre, and remember because I thought it was funny that their website is aquacon.com.
