College Dilema - Which major?

    I went to college for 3 years, for computer science, theater minor. I didn't really learn anything. I did consume many beers though and had a very good time. You learn the basics, but technology changes so frequently that what they taught then isn't very meaningful now, and the basics I already knew. I actually helped my prof teach a Linux class one semester. I was hired on as college staff in the IT department, got a free ride, and had a salary. Out of college I had work experience as an assistant network administrator and telecommunications technician to put on my resume.

    Keep in mind that you pay your dues one way or another. Money isn't everything people like to say, but if you pick the right profession, having excess money is better than doing without. There's no easy way.

    I took college level psychology in high school. Graduated with college credits, actually. It's interesting to find out what's wrong with you while you study ::);D
