In all honesty, as long as an SEC team makes it to the big dance, I'm ok with it. I would have never said that before moving to oregon but when you live up here around all of these Pac 10 people that don't understand what football is like in the south, you have a new appreciation for southern teams in general

Yep but I've got people up here that will argue up and down that the Pac 10 has the best fans, the most heart, yada yada. They have never caught a game at legion field or the swamp in gainsville.

ask them how many times their teams go to natnl champ games and remain in the top 10 during the season.. very few will be the response.. I wish games were still played at legion field, this atlanta meeting place is getting annoying..

Tebow got nailed...but it didn't look as bad as people were saying it was. I didn't watch the game, but after hearing people talk about it I youtubed it and I wasn't very impressed. I wasn't impressed because there was talk about being out for the season, and there's no way a guy like Tebow could be out for the whole season after a hit like that. Yeah, it was a pretty big slam, but it wasn't season threatening IMO.

I can't wait for this weekend...Auburn Vs. Tennessee. Muahahahahaha (I live in TN, but I'm an AU fan, born and raised). Too bad I may be either working or kayaking during that game...so I may have to watch the recording of it. I won't look at this thread until after I watch that game :D

I'll tell you what's impressive, is a guy your age who's not only already a medical doctor, but can also diagnose the severity of a concussion just by watching a youtube clip of the accident!

You have one heck of a future in sports medicine! :biglaugh:

(Standard disclaimer of just busting your chops ;))

I was just saying I've seen worse in football and those guys didn't get ousted for the season, so all the hype about Tebow getting hit was just becaue he was Tebow. :p

I know; I'm just messin with ya. And there is some truth to what you're saying.

If he was the quarterback from some school up in, say, Auburn or Tuscaloosa? - nobody would be paying any attention. ;)
