College reefer from SLO

    Hello everyone, I'm new here.
    I'm a 3rd yr student at Cal Poly. My 10 gallon reef is 2 or so months old, but I've been in the hobby(freshwater) since 2008. My goal with this tank is, by the beginning of next year, do carbon dosing(biopellets) so I can keep sps happy since my tank is pretty much 90% sps. I'm probably going to build my own recirculating biopellet reactor that's good enough for a 10 gallon tank. Looking forward to my stay in this forum!

    Welcome to 3 reef.....I'm impressed with SPS in a 10 gallon! and that you're in this hobby and a student - those budgets are usually mutually exclusive :) Once graduated and making some real money - you'll have a bigger fish bowl to spend loads of money :)
