    What do you guys prefer, a colored tank background or clear glass/acrylic???

    Colored just makes everything pop out a lot more. I hated seeing the wall through my tank, just kind of takes you out of the atmosphere that you are looking in to a little slice of nature.

    haha.. sorry guys i didn't realize there was a desperate thread, but either way.. I was thinking of black myself. Ive seen a lot of tanks with them and they look awesome... i like the contrast!

    Now im guessing I cant paint my current tank black. I was thinking of getting a black background stick-on or something. After ready your original post SOS i see that a lot people had painted there, and i assume prior to stocking!

    i like mine pink...

    let the corraline take over...if u cant stand the sight of the wall, then black is always nice too...

    I never thought of doing something with the back of my tank. I think would look nice.

    I would choose black! Looks great with some decent coralline algae colonies!
