    so i guess the first day we left for vacation my 46gal desided to spring a leak half way down the tank but our friend who watched the house got most my corals into my 30 gal with the few fish that were in there sadly i lost my six line wrase and found my tiger jawfish when i got home and got him settled into the 30 gal but not sure if hes goin to make it he sat in some cold water for about a week i was surprised he was even coming out for food thats how i caught him. still sux ... :-/

    Sorry about your loss =[ All these vacation horror stories have me terrified of leaving for two weeks in August! One of my friends agreed to watch my tank but she can kill a gold fish lol. Yeah Im gonna be paranoid!

    I am so sorry and hope everything turns out OK. I guess it would be nice to have one of those controllers you can monitor and control via a smart phone.

    That does suck. Why is it you can watch a tank all day and it never leak. But once you leave for couple of days the spring a leak? Hope all works out.

    Would it? I guess if a heater got stuck you could shut it off or something but in his case he would know the tank is in trouble but there is nothing he can do about it. It would probably ruin his vacation thinking about it.

    This is one of the countless stories of this sort of thing happening. It absolutely amazes me that we can be home for 50 or 51 weeks in the year and nothing happens and then go away for a week or two and something goes wrong! The aquarium gremlins strike again!
