I started a new timing scheme where the actinic lights are on 2 hours before and after the halides are on and im loving the new coral and fish behavior due to it, and it seems to have pulled out a new hitchiker from one of my rocks, i couldnt get a good enough picture of it I'm still playing with my new camera but i did get a decent video:

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/R5qr2IFPA2g&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/R5qr2IFPA2g&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

It has seven? arms that resemble plant roots, black and white and seems to have a black mouth. and is pulling food from the water into its mouth, any ideas?

I think maybe it's a brittle sea star? I have really bad eyes, so I can't see it that well!

Nah, I vote for brittle star, they have a tendency to stay hidden when they are small.
