Ya - I have two of those guys. They are pretty cool. They do a pretty good job of working the sand bed, but they have some trouble in the smaller spaces where extra food tends to collect.

I'm encouraged that I did find 3 Nassarius roaming the tank the other night though

Just wanted to update this thread - I've decided to the cleaner Wrasse needs to go.

I've been observing him the last few days as he seeming is progressively getting more aggressive - even taking small bites out of the dorsal fins of the other fish - specifically my Tang and my female scooter blenny.

At first I was not sure hit was him, but saw him do this morning during feeding time.

He's still eats well and seems to have plenty of body weight, so I'm not sure what this new behavior is all about.

I plan on catching him this weekend, assuming he cooperates :) and trading him in for some store credit

hmmm so you had him for roughly 6 months? im asking this because mine seems to be doing well but does occasionally bother my BSP. its not to a point where neither eat or have physical wounds but my toby definitely does not appreciate the insisting cleaning services of my wrasse. I would say these two fish are not compatible, least from what iv witnessed in my 120. perhaps larger system would be able to host them both without a problem.

    More like 4-5 months.

He was added to the tank on 6/30/13. I bought him from my LFS and he was trade-in from an establish aquarium.

I started noticing some notches in a few of the fishes fins in the last 2-3 weeks, but never could figure out who was doing it.

But, during the last few feeding times, all the fish will be doing what they do, and then all of a sudden will dart in all directions - and right in the middle of it all is the wrasse.

Then I noticed some new notches in the Kole Tang's fins that weren't there before feeding time. The notches are also the same size as the wrasses mouth.
