Compact Fluorescents to T5 Retrofit

    Hey Guys looking for help again!

    Forgive me if I missed a Thread that covered this.

    I am wondering a few things. My houseing has 2 CF bulbs that are 96 Watts each. I am wondering if I can change out the ends and replace them with 4 39W T5s? I dont know if that makes any sense now that I look at the numbers but I belive the T5s seem to put out better light?

    Second can I use the same balast for T5s that is used by my CF?

    I dont know Im sure Im missing somethin here but I am just looking for suggestions!

    Yes t5 put out better quality light, the other questions probably depend on your ballast.

    Most likely your CF ballasts will not power T5HO bulbs. You will need to reed the lights it operates.
