Compact T5

On my Boyu TL550 it came with Boyu 24W Compact T5 lighting. It was 8 months before I noticed them losing brightness. The only ones I could find in the UK to replace them was labelled Interpet and they in turn started after about 4 months started to dim and I noticed my corals were not as good. Thats the story so far and every 4 months I have replaced them, other than the expense it seemed a necessary evil.
This month I had trouble finding a supplier and on contacting one of the larger suppliers I was informed that Interpet were discontinuing compact lamps. Any ideas out there? I don't want to change to LEDs or Metal Halides. I want to keep the lid of the tank in place. :-/

Not sure if this is any use - its a mail order site in Bristol England

but they have ATI t5S X 24 watt and Geisseman and these are the brands you want and should last at least 9 months if not longer IME
