    Just checked out my refugium this morning, and boy i have alot of pods crazy looking things all over my glass, sand bed. Its amazeing how these little buggers go about. Is it ok to drop in a sandshifter in my fuge i have alot of green/red algae in it. Maybe some hermits?

    I really don't mess with the fuge,it's not a pretty sight but it is out of sight under the stand so I don't bother it.I have thousands of pods,worms,different types of macroalgae and even some bad algae like cyano,bubble algae and no telling what else.I figure as long as it's helping remove nitrates and phosphates and stays contained to the fuge it's doing more good than harm so other than trimming back the macroalgae every once in a while,I let it do it's thing and the dt is doing great.
