Well for those of you who read my other thread you can see that my tank is getting back on its feet. Anyway, can anyone think of some compatible fish? Right now I have a small maroon clownfish and algae blenny. Thinking about getting a six line wrasse, firefish, and goby/pistol shrimp pair along with a mandarin, but I'm trying not to push it. and yes I know about the mandarin's strict feeding diet so I'm not worried about that. Starting a copepod culture anyway lol. So I probably can't fit that many fish in a tank; I can but i mean it's too much for a 29 gallon right? Any suggestions? and one more thing: no dwarf angels please. I had a flame angel; it was awesome but eventually died of ich and it cost me a lot ($50... well maybe not a lot compared to a helfrichi firefish at $170 but still a lot IMO). So please, anyone wanna help out?

I would do a sixline, and 1 more marron. I think the algae blenny would be unsafe considering if you had a pistol/watchman.

I think you could put in any two of the four. I would do the wrasse and goby/shrimp pair.

I agree with 2in10 here. I had a Maroon a few years ago and it was MEAN. Picked on all my other tank mates and constantly tore the tank apart. Moving sand to different corners, knocking over coral etc. Sixline would be a good fit in your setup.

I think the algae Blenny may run out of food in a tank that size, you may need to supplement his diet with nori or something similar.

yeah maybe; i'm considering getting rid of him, but then I saw a youtube vid with a yasha goby/pistol shrimp pair. there was a bicolor blenny and he was perfectly fine but still thinking whether or not to take the risk. and 1 more maroon seems like a good idea; why not settle for a pair?

really? well you don't no my blenny; he's SPECIAL.... lol. My blenny's actually a carnivore sometimes! he will sometimes eat shrimp on occasion, but I usually feed him flake food. currently looking for soemething algae based

I'd go with the sixline and maroon. Maybe a clown goby too.

Well After doing some thinking I've come up with this: maroon clownfish pair (can someone tell me how to pair them up?), sixline wrasse, pistol shrimp/goby pair (well I'm thinking about a YWG, yasha goby, randalls goby, and hi fin red banded goby; what do u guys prefer? and what pistol goes with each goby? are they all the same shrimp?), and a firefish (getting rid of algae blenny). Pretty good to start over right? Tank should be ready for cycling again in about 2 days.

Get a maroon that is smaller than your current clown. I prefer a six and a YWG pair.
