I have a lemonpeel and two Ocellaris clown fish who have been in 40 gallon tank for about two years. I want to add a fish that would be compatible. I had a wrasse about a year ago, the lemonpeel bullied him to death. It is a reef tank.

    thanks in advance

    Welcome to 3Reef!

There are plenty of fish that would be compatible. If you had a few in mind that you like, we may be able to give insight as to which would probably be a better fit.

    Hi and welcome to 3reef,

You have some fish known to have a lot of attitude, most notably the Lemon peel.

An Orchid Dotty Back or Blue Damsel might be able to stand up to the Angel. Another Angel is most likely out of the question. You could try a 6 line Wrasse. Perhaps an adult Yellow Watchman Goby.

Six line wrasses are neat and fun to watch!

I love my orchid dottyback - they are very beautiful but shy. I feel the goby is also a good idea, maybe a hawkfish?

all good suggestions. I really like the yellow watchman idea - your current fish may not welcome a newcomer but the goby would stay toward the bottom and they are such cool fish.

I like the idea of the yellow watchman goby myself. Reason being is that I just bought one recently as well as a pistol shrimp and only took a few days but they paired up and it is so fun to watch those two.
