Really sorry to hear that. I share your grief as I too lost everything overnight. I have since restarted and hope you will too.

It is so important to have someone to watch your tanks while you are away for some piece of mind, though many times they aren't very knowledgeable but atleast it helps somewhat, plus you can possibly walk them through certain events and problems associated with your tank(s) IMO.

I don't know what to say that others already haven't.
I know that I worry everytime I go away and hope that all is well when I return, I can't but imagine how you must have felt.

All the best with whatever you decide to do.

Well as of today I have put everything up for sale and most items have bids and will go. The tank and stand have not been bid on and if they dont sell I will probably start a freshwater tank like my high school days (Africans). I do appreciate everybodys condolences and offers but I like to vacationj and dont want this to happen again. My insurance guy came up with a total for my damages and it was $8,800 bucks. Just a note for everyone out there the part that failed was my auto top off which I purchased from Fish Bowl Inovations. It cost me over $60 and work great for 3 months of so then disaster while on vacation. Its the 12 volt solinoid and float valve. I have to send mine to my insurance company and they are going to test it and find out if was a defect in the part. I did not check it do to my disapointment I just removed and tore down the tank.

    MIKE

    hey i found this :
Description A brown-black round, elongated body with black spots all over. Coral Trout (Kerapu Sunuk) is often found in waters with coral reefs. A red or brown body which leads to it being called the red grouper, which changes color when the fish is stressed. Blue spots rimmed in a darker color; upto 70 cm. Habitat includes the N.W. Australia, the Great Barrier Reef, and throughout most of S.E Asia, though mainly in the W. Pacific.
