conch ?

is this a fighting conch? it does have a haard thin apendage

 

Hard to tell from the picture but I would say it is definitely a conch of some kind, maybe a fighting conch, would be easier to tell if you could get a picture of him out and cleaning.

 

he digs into the sand ..... he has that curl thing it hard and thin. its visible in the first picture.
