    into week four the brown algea has subsided and after a lite scrub this is what i have going

    I don't think I would be worrying about any of that algea, it's bringing color to the rock. None of it looks like any of thr nuisance stuff, that once it starts it won't stop.

    yep, from what i have read the brown that subsided was just part of the cycling process. isn't the purple stuff supposed to be "good" algea.

    the purple algey is coralline, its gooooooooooood stuff, shows maturity of rock and shows you have the right ballance in there too!!

    had to add some fans to help out my cooling unit
