Condy was hidden?

how would I make my lighting more then above average?

 

Add a metal Halide to it, which can be rather costly to run depending on how hot your tank gets while running it because if it gets too hot you may have to get a chiller.

 

gazog - would you percieve any benefit to upgrading the lamps used on
Leightons original fixture

would running 4 x ATI or Geisseman lamps make any significant difference in your opinion?

Do they sell a fit kit for light like what I have? Im buying a larger tank this week so I wanna get what I can to give my animals the best care possible. Also I know you said its normal for condy's to close up sometimes, would it be normal for them to do it when my 10k lights came on then open right back up? Sorry for all the questions just trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can. The new tank I will be getting will be a 60-65 gall 36x24x18 I think is the dementions.

 

If i got some of those lamps what watt or kelvin ratings woudl i need?
