Well thank you Mr. Bill for you advice :) you have been very helpful. I did add another pic and no he doesn't:( but he will stay like this for a few hours or so and then inflates and looks like he did in the other pic. These things have worse mood swings than people:)
    I guess time will tell

I checked my nitrates this morning after a water change and they were at about 60ppm and I think my anemone is responding well. :2thumbsup Maybe another later but I need to get some more salt

That's good to hear, but yes they do need to come down a bit more. James (Proreefer) also pointed out something else- do you know how old the lights are? T5 bulbs need to be replaced every 12 months as they will lose their spectrum. It's not overly stressful, but corals and anemones won't be very happy if they're not receiving the proper color temperature.

Yeah I will do another change and see what that will do. My lights should be fine because the previous owner said he replaced them just a little before he sold it. My anemone is looking better than ever and I think he might be trying to climb one of the rocks:thumb_up: I will put so pics on my profile if you want to see the aquarium so far

Also my LFS only has the API nitrate test kit. Should I get that one?

65W bulbs were mentioned...those are going to be PC's not T5's...much lower PAR output.

That's wonderful news, glad he's looking better. Would love to see some pics-- everybody loves pics. :D

IIRC, API is touted as one of the best test kits on the market.

You're right I looked and they are compact fluorescents. My bad.
I tried to post some pic with my camera but it rejected me. I think the file is too big. Anyway here is a pic from my phone. IMG_20110720_150540.jpg
