I just bought a purple tip condi, super healthy, took the lfs guy nearly half an hour to get him off a rock, very responsive to touch, excellent color, only $8.00 Question is what does this guy eat exactly, I've been told they can filter feed from food in the water, I've also seen people feeding these whole goldfish feeders. Also do these sting? I haven't touched it and want to know if it's safe.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Most anemones require at least some supplemental feedings. You can try small pieces of raw seafood ie: shrimps, fish, scallops, squid. Make sure you remove any uneaten food so it does not foul your tank. Goldfish are not a good food choice for any anemone. Try feeding bi-monthy at first. All anemones sting to some degree and this is usually not a problem unless you have allergies. The sting of the condi will actually keep most clown fish from residing amoung them.

What type of lighting do you have ?
