I have always had a bit of a phos problem, and recently with my anthias being so picky Im having some nitrate issues too.

I have a huge CUC and im starting to get a ridiculous amount of algae out of nowhere. I have bumped up wc's the last 2 months and that doesnt seem to be doing it anymore.

I havebeen reading about biopellets, and considering them in my Cannister filter that at the moment only runs carbon, but I am concerned that they will kill of my softies and LPS

What experience do you have with this? and whats the best biopellets to buy

You will need a reactor for biopellets. They have to constantly be moved around or they will foul. Heres a good link to read up on what they actually can do. I just ordered my reactor and biopellets from Dr. Tim and they should arrive Wednesday. Xmetal has recently begun running them and he has posted good results so far.As well as excellant results on Steve Wrights carbon dosing thread.Dr. Tims pellets seem to be very promising as they are specially made for the aquarium trade plus they are made in the U.S.A.
