make sure to take them with food and a big glass of milk. and in a few days you'll feel better! Your body needs to adjust.

i took it shortly after dinner *two bowls of chicken noodle soup which was good* and drank with water.

funny thing about the taking with food, the pharmacist said to take it without food because when people take it with food their stomachs react to it like mine is, like i can literally taste/feel my food *sorry for the description lol* and i have to take this 4 times a day for 10 days! ugh! at least the eye drops arent to bad

oh weird. when I took them on an empty stomach I had to lie down for 3 hours or I would have thrown up, but with food it was much more tolerable. Still nauseating, but better!

for sure, i still think i should deffiently call in sick tomorrow, my eye feels a little bit better but it's still bad and i think my body needs a day or two to adjust to the new meds especially since he has me taking 5 in one day everyday, my stomach is going to hate me very much

    Worth note:

There are (counting in head) at least four major causes of conjunctivitis, a word that simply means your conjunctiva (the red tissue surrounding your eyeball) is swollen.

People panic without actually finding out which they have, which makes a huge difference on whether it's contagious, how long it lasts, how to treat it, et cetera.

The four obvious kinds are bacterial, viral, chemical, and fungal. Within those categories, obviously, there can be many completely different causes...different bacteria that have different levels of contagion, for example.

I believe, for example, that I once "got pink eye" simply from having concentrated salt from my marine tank on my hands, getting it in my eye, and then rubbing at my eye with the salt-contaminated hand for quite some time. Chemical conjunctivitis.

Oh, sure, eventually I caught on and washed my hands, rinsed my eye...but the conjunctiva, like many other tissues, can enter into a self-perpetuating phase where the very swelling and other reactions to tissue irritation can irritate the tissue, causing more swelling, causing more irritation, in a cycle that lasts hours, or days. Especially if you keep wiping the tears and gunk out of it, or otherwise agitating it.

Liken it to how a mosquito bite probably will go away within a short time if you don't touch it, but can last days if you keep scratching.

The other day, I had another spontaneous outburst of "pink eye", also after working with my tank and forgetting to wash my hands, and this time I rinsed it once, then did not touch it in any way, and sure enough it was gone in about an hour...but it had been precisely as horribly inflamed, painful, and watery as before.
