    I hide the receipts from my husband! Jwin and I won't even let him go to the LFS - being the accountant he is, he'd probably start pricing what we have and faint!

    Coral Reefer, good luck with the job. We love our LFS guy - he's been a tremendous help to us - I'm sure you will be with your customers, too!

    It can be fun but it can be frustrating too.

    How much is that yellow plant?
    You mean the Sinularia coral?
    I guess, the cool looking one.
    What kind of lighting and filtration do you have?
    I don't know....my husband takes care of that.
    Do you have any SPS corals in the tank....Sinularia put out toxins that are bad for SPS.
    I don't know, I just want the pretty yellow thing.

    My favorite when I was working at an LFS:

    Customer: "Will this fish (a dogfaced puffer) fight with my other fish?"
    Me: "What's your other fish"
    Customer: "An oscar"
    Me: "Nope, if you put that fish in a freshwater tank, it will be dead long before it has a chance to fight with your oscar".

    Sigh. Here's your sign.
