Construction rock use for live rock

    I have heard of places taking concrete and thowing in the ocean for a year then selling as live rock. It was rubble from construction sites. Concreate is not very pourous and very dense thus making bad base rock.

    you also have to think about the rock leaching out things from it. This can affect your water parameters.

    With all the time, energy and investment in the hobby, why cut corners and have it play out negatively for you in the long run!
