so ive had my 45 tank setup for 2 weeks now and just put a fish in it just starting to cycle. my setup is as follows 2x penguin 350 HOB filters and that is all. i just looked on craigslist in my area and someone is selling a 90gal tank with what looks like a 4 bulb t5 light not sure of brand, stand/hood, about $500 of dead coral (as he says), wet/dry filter and pumps for $275 would it be wise for me to jump on this deal and scrap my current tank for a bigger one while its still young??

Have you ever had a tank setup before. My suggestion is stick with what you have. There's always deals out there.

+1 although one of the benefits of a bigger tank is more roon for error. Doesn't sound like he has any equipment that would help you out like a sump or skimmer, you would just be getting a larger tank which means more initial cost to set it up. I would stay with yours but look for equipment instead. I started with a 75g, but will end up with one I can skuba in with my fish ;D
