converting 20 gallon?

    okay, my hubby has decided he wants to convert his 20g cichlid tank into a species tank for a dwarf lionfish. I have never kept one of these but wanted to know if we could do it in a 20g and without a skimmer. I know alot of people say a skimmer on a 20 gallon is not worth it?

    With a heavy/messer eater/pooper like a lion fish, I would want to run a skimmer. Besides, in a tank that small, the oxygen that the skimmer produces will be an added benefit.
