    Hello
I don't have a sump for my tank but a canister filter. Can I use the canister for housing copepods? Also, I'm expecting a bottle of rotifers soon. It came with my sand, so I don't know what to do with it. Do I dump it into the tank?

On the canister. Most canisters have a filter pad in them. Which gets changed regularly... Assuming thats where they would go in the pad to breed eat etc. By changing the pad you'd eliminate them from the system. So I would think adding them to the tank would be more effective.
