    Dam. They only have live brineshrimp or rotifer cultures.

    Im going to order a culture and start culturing them and try and keep them sustainable. I am also going to do side cultures out of the refugium incase the population inside the tank crashes.

    Hopefully they arrive in good condition and speedy so I can get them regularly for a mandarin.

    Sometimes you can find a mandarin who will eat cyclopeez and/or mysis. This is a good option but you have to find someone who has "weened" him over to eating frozen. I prefer this option to hoping the copepod culture is large enough.

    Unfortunately prepared foods alone will not be good enough.You still need a decent pod population unless you can sit there and feed it small ammounts all day long.Prepared foods are great for supplementation of its diet but IME will not be enough to sustain the fish on there own.It is also well documented that even when eating prepared foods they sometimes will just stop accepting them for no apparent reason.When/if that happens a podless tank will be a death sentence.
