I ordered some copepods online for my dragonet, and Im not to sure how to add them to the tank.

    any ideas would help

    I have a biocube HQI 29 gallon,
it has a built in fuge that I have chato in it.

I take the chato out once every two weeks and give it a shake out when I do my weekly water change. I read that some people put the pods in the fuge...

I don't know im lost with these copepods..

    thanks:-[

I would introduce them at night if possible, right into the display tank.

Do you have any population in your tank right now?
Mandarins eat literally hundreds of pods a day; you'll go broke if you have to constantly buy them. That's not to say you can't sustain a mandarin in a smaller tank, I have a very fat, happy one in my 29. What really did the trick for me was making rubble rock piles that only the pods can fit in and reproduce. My mandarin basically just sits on the mounds of rubble rock all day getting fatter.

Trust me on the rock piles, it works. If possible I'd also try to target feed some mysis.

But anyway yeah I'd put all of them in. Make the rock piles first. If you have chaeto, it likely already has some pods in it if it's from an older system.
