    Are copods good for a salt water tank ?

    Yes. They are free fish food, especially for picky eaters like mandarins. Many of us are constantly struggling to have more and more copepods in our tanks!

    I don't think it is possible to have too many. They eat all of the uneaten food and scavenge around your tank. Mandarins solely eat pods in the wild. scooter blennies and six line wrasse love them too.

    When a mommy copepod and a daddy copepod love each other very much...

    JK. The come as hitch hikers on rocks, coral, algae, etc

    The more pods the better. Be glad that you have them. I've been going for months and hardly see any. My population is slowly growing though.
